Still Life

"A still life usually depicts household objects in a static, indoors setting. I wanted to introduce some movement, and take things outdoors, for more interesting light patterns and interest.

I used acrylic paint and oil pastels. Ordinarily, these wouldn't mix, but if applied in small quantities, they form an emulsion, giving a grainy texture and vibrant colour."
